I have over 40 years of experience in dentistry, the frist 17 in the former Czechoslovakia. I was licensed in California in 1996, and am practicing in the area since 1997. I am a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, CDA, KCDS, and ASFO.

My wife Elena was my schoolmate and practiced dentistry in the former Czechoslovakia for over seventeen years. After our family moved to USA, she worked as a registered dental assistant, and since 1997 she manages our office, takes care of insurance claims, and does all our front office work.

Our daughter joined our practice in 2006, after graduating from USC Dental School. She added orthodontics to our treatment offer. She is very patient with children, and all our younger patients love "Doctor Mimi". Dr. Maria Porazik is also a member of ADA, CDA, KCDS, AGD and IAO.

Our son Paul is a graduate of UCSF School of Dentistry. After graduating he completed his specialization in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY. He is a member of American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a recipient of Albert Einstein College of Medicine Leo M. Davidoff Society Award.

Alicia joined our practice in 2005. She has over 25 years of experience as a registered dental assistant. She is a gentle and attentive assistant, with a great personality. Her fluency in Spanish helps us better serve our Spanish speaking patients.

Eva has grown up in the mountain communities. Having passed her dental assistant exams, she hopes to continue her studies and become a hygienist in the near future.
